The Oh Well’s Top Bar Golf Alternatives

This year, Bar Golf bands sold out with unprecedented speed. Didn’t get one, and now you’re uncertain what to do with your Friday? Here are other places to blackout, gathered and texted by our writing staff.

1. Silverspot Cinema Bar

That’s right! Did you know Silverspot Cinema at University Place has a bar? Grab a drink, or two, or twenty-three (that was your limit last time). You could even catch a rerun of Hoppers before you crawl back home!

2. On your ex’s front porch

Let’s be honest: you were going to do this anyway. Hey, you might even catch them on their way BACK from bar golf (which was probably lame, anyway).

3. The Bar at Silverspot Cinema

Did you know they deliver to your seat? That’s right! Order anything from mozzarella sticks to 12 Four Lokos, and they’ll bring it right to your open, gaping mouth!

4. First floor of Gardner Hall

The lack of AC really makes those Twisted Teas sing! Head down to Gardner and beat those Bar Golf crowds. If you’ve got an exam in Gardner next week, you can get a head-start and role-play what it’ll beg like to fail ECON 470…again.

5. On your ex’s lawn

It’s okay. You weren’t able to make it to the porch. It’s the thought that counts…right? At least the grass looks soft.

6. Silverspot’s Hot New Bar

You don’t even have to see a movie. They don’t check. You can just walk in, say, “Baby needs his bottle,” and they’ll comply! Who needs Bar Golf when you have Silverspot Bar and Cinema Too, I Guess?*

Some of her pet peeves are redundancy, which means repeating the same thing over and over again, and repetitiveness, which means being redundant. Critics have described her as “legit awesomeness” and “awesomeness level maxxed out.” Fans have described her as “…”. This is because fans don’t talk. At least not the ones that create a wind-chill effect by circulating air.
