UNC hacks for incoming freshman

We know the first week of class can be stressful for first-year students, so The Oh Well put together a list of helpful hints for your time here at UNC. Good luck!

1. If you use your One Card at the dining hall and you have a meal plan, you can eat breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner there! Or, maybe even a snack!

2. Make sure to take the little plastic ball off the end of your pen. Otherwise, you will not be able to write with it.

3. To get an A on your homework, make sure to do it well and also to turn it in on time.

4. If you’re having problems with your roommate, talk to them and work it out.

5. If you’re thirsty, there are water fountains in most buildings.

6. If you get a ticket to a football game, you’re allowed to go.

7. If you get hot in between classes, go inside! UNC has air conditioning.

8. Open your backpack or else you may not be able to access your items.

9. When you go to Davis Library, look for a table in order to study!

10. When it’s nice outside, sit in the grass with your friends, if you’d like!
